Guidelines for Hosting seminar with Alan Orr at your school
Seminars are available on many areas, such as Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun, Chin Na, Grappling, Sparring, NHB, Integrated Eskrima, Conditioning & exercise, Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong.
Rates vary for Corporate Training on: CEO/Company Directors Personal Protection Programme,
Warrior Mind Skills Seminars/Courses, Warrior Personal Development Programmes.
Seminars should be scheduled at least two (2) months in advance to allow for maximum promotion
Seminars are to be either one or two days on weekends. The minimum time requirement is (4) hours.
A 25% deposit is required 30 days prior to the event for all seminars
No instruction will be conducted without payment.
Spectators will be charged half price since a certain degree of learning is possible just by observing.
Video equipment is not allowed
Any necessary training equipment must be provided by the seminar sponsor/promoter.
SEMINAR FEES
UK: The standard fee for a seminar (4 hours/one day) is £400.00 i.e.(£100 per hour) This depends on the numbers attending, once the fee is met then the excess is shared 50% with the event promoter. If you have a small school and are a Member then fees can be reduced by arrangement only. All expenses will also be covered by the event promoter. A 25% deposit is required 30 days prior to the date that the seminar is scheduled with the balance paid being in cash or by cheque two weeks in advance.
FOREIGN COUNTRIES: A minimum fee of £600 must be guaranteed for 6 hours when conducting seminars in a foreign country, plus expenses. A 50% deposit is required 30 days prior to the date that the seminar is scheduled with the balance paid two weeks in advance.
EXPENSES (payable by Seminar promoter)
TRAVEL (Airfare Round Trip)
LODGING (each night of trip): A clean, non-smoking room
FOOD (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Seminars should be arranged at least two (2) months in advance for proper marketing of the event.
All arrangements are to be confirmed and plane tickets must be sent at least two weeks in advance of the seminar date.
Attendance certificates will be awarded to all participants (not observers).
All advertising materials designed by the sponsor (flyers, brochures, etc.) must be approved by Alan Orr before being used. The event promoter must furnish details such as dates, times, attendance fees, preferred payment method and locations.
OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
In some cases, an Assistant will be required to participate and is expected to have all expenses covered by the event promoter (airfare, lodging, and food).
SEMINAR CANCELLATION
At least one month is required to cancel a seminar once it has been scheduled.
If a seminar is cancelled after that time then a cancellation fee of £100 will be payable immediately upon cancellation. Compensated is to cover the booked time, as Alan Orr could have been teaching somewhere else on this date. If a seminar is cancelled and the fee is not paid, you will not be allowed another opportunity to sponsor a seminar.
